This Seattle band’s third full-length is another excellent outing of instrumental psych-rock, combining ambient soundscapes and the intense drones of German prog-rock with the muscle of ‘70s hard rock and metal to often-exhilarating effect. Kinski place a bit more focus this time around on driving rock rhythms, though tempos and song structures often shift in unpredictable ways. 6/28/2005
