This mostly Toronto-based band (frontman Aaron Riches is now going to school in Virginia) follow up last year’s acclaimed Alone At The Microphone with their third album of folkish indie-rock. While Alone at the Microphone was a pretty dark affair with a fair amount of intentionally disturbing lyrical imagery, this one’s a more openly spiritual and ultimately hopeful album. 6/2/2004
