The third and newest release from this Brooklyn based, Detroit born artist is an absolutely wonderful album of slow, quiet, plaintive beauties along with a few melodically upbeat and jaunty numbers. Pianos, banjos, xylophones, horns, guitars, and lovely vocal harmonies create some gorgeous and very emotionally moving songs. There are a few real gems on here. One of my favorite albums of the year. 11/12/2003
