This Irish band's full-length debut is an impressive set of sun-drenched guitar-pop tinged with country and psychedelic-rock. While their roots are squarely planted in the California pop of the late '60s and early '70s, they also recall more modern purveyors of melodic psych-pop like the Shins and Grandaddy. 9/15/2003
