Tei Shi is the moniker of Los Angeles-based Colombian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer Valerie Teicher. Growing up between Bogotá, Colombia and Vancouver, BC, Tei Shi's ever-changing environment and cross-cultural identity has influenced her unique visionary pop that blends R&B and electro-pop with her South American roots. Her self-released debut EP Saudade arrived in 2013 and the success of both that release and her second EP Verde soon led to two stellar albums on Downtown Records.
