Collab-friendly quartet BADBADNOTGOOD has unveiled a new song with Swedish electronic pop band Little Dragon called “Tried.” The soulful single comes from years of mutual admiration between the two bands, with BBNG sending the Gothenburg quartet the instrumental in late 2017. "We sent over the instrumental for 'Tried' to share and start a conversation with LD,” recalls BBNG’s Alex Sowinski to NPR. “The song Yukimi wrote over our music continues the spirit of honest lyrics and performance.”

BBNG’s last studio record was 2016’s IV. Most recently, they appeared on Kali Uchis’ debut album, Isolation, for the song “After the Storm.” Little Dragon released Season High last year and, strangely enough, ended up on Eminem’s Kamikaze with a writing credit on “Normal.” Below, listen to “Tried” and watch Little Dragon’s live performance on the KEXP stage at Little London Plane for 2018's Upstream Music Fest.
