FIDLAR have shared an explosive new single called “Too Real.” The song follows the recently shared tracks “Alcohol” and “Are You High?” and is presumably off their forthcoming, recently-completely third album, currently unnamed. The hard-hitting single seethes with rage as frontman Zac Carper calls out everyone from the government, “bullshit bands that are on the charts,” the political right, the political left, smartphones, and EDM, making some solid points along the way while posing the question: “Is that too fucking real?” The expletive-filled track comes with a surreal video by Jonathan Atchley compiled of vintage film clips, news footage, video games, and zombies to make a rather disturbing and dismal juxtaposition.

FIDLAR’s last record was 2015’s Too. Listen to “Too Real” and watch the skate-punk quartet’s KEXP in-studio performance from 2015 below.
