KEXP has partnered with Pearl Jam in advance of their sold-out Home Shows at Safeco Field on Wednesday, August 8 and Friday, August 10 to join in the band’s fight against homelessness in Seattle. These shows are about shining a spotlight on the problem and solutions to homelessness in our hometown and joining a growing list of businesses, individuals, government agencies, and foundations who are collaborating to tackle the biggest public health crisis to hit our community in recent history.

On Wednesday, August 1st, KEXP is spotlighting local organizations working to combat homelessness in Seattle, like Accelerator YMCA. Hear a chat with Kristen Brennan, Senior Director of Programs, on The Midday Show with Troy Nelson, or listen below:
