Primavera Sound Announces 2019 Lineup

In 2019, the very first completely 50/50 gender split major music festival is being held. Primavera Sound has revealed its 2019 lineup and it includes heavy-hitting pop artists like Cardi B, Janelle Monaé, Solange, Carly Rae Jepsen, Erykah Badu, Future, Kali Uchis, Nas, and Robyn alongside indies like Mac DeMarco, FKA Twigs, Dirty Projectors, Deerhunter, Big Red Machine, James Blake, Snail Mail, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, Pond, Julia Holter, Built To Spill, Neneh Cherry, Kurt Vile & the Violators, and many more.

One of the exciting performances of note is Stereolab, who will be playing their first show together in a decade at the Barcelona-based fest. The Laetitia Sadier-led band also announced that they'll be reissuing seven of their albums spanning 1993’s Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements through 2004’s Margerine Eclipse to be released throughout 2019.
