The hardworking Annie Clark has been touring behind the latest St. Vincent release, MassEducation. The new record is a stripped-down and reworked version of 2017’s MASSEDUCTION, solely consisting of Clark’s heavenly vocals and Thomas Bartlett on piano. Last night, she played an intimate show at Brooklyn Academy of Music where she performed a cover of Lou Reed’s 1972 song “Perfect Day.” A crystal-clear fan-made video of the performance has emerged. Watch it below along with St. Vincent’s KEXP in-studio performance from early 2018.
