"Every Day's the Weekend," the Melbourne songwriter's revved-up ode to the way that special someone makes even the cruddiest days feel like a blast whenever they're around, gallops along on fizzy chords and whoa-oh gang vocals. That Lahey seems to blow work off all the time in order to spend time with them might make it tough for her to pay the bills, but that's love for ya.

"Every Day's the Weekend" is found on Lahey's recently released debut I Love You Like A Brother, and with the way her career has been going, she's not going to have time for a day job anytime soon. Her single "You Don’t Think You Like People Like Me" was a hit in her native Australia, she recently dropped by Late Night With Seth Meyers and she's currently touring the states.
