It's not a gathering of pirates. (That would be "ARRRR Day.") It's R Day, a party at the Old Rainier Brewery this Saturday, October 22nd from 5:00 to 11:00 PM. In fact, Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee and City of Seattle Mayor Ed Murray have officially proclaimed the day "Rainier Beer’s R Day," so you could say, it's your civic duty to party. There will be plenty of Rainier Beer and Rainier Pale Mountain Ale, of course, and live music with Thunderpussy and Hobosexual!
