With a little help from some talented friends, British composer Adam Bainbridge, a.k.a. Kindness, charmed his way into the KEXP live room to share his collection of chilled aesthetics. Highlighting tracks from both his recently released album, Otherness, and 2012’s World, You Need a Change of Mind, Kindness explores the limitless boundaries associated with contemporary pop music; continually floating across genres with silky tunes recollected in tranquility or funkadelics that haunt after the fact. With ever expanding arrangements and collaborators, Bainbridge seems more focused and on point with tracks like "That's Alright" and "Gee Up", each guaranteed to get the head nodding and the mind thinking. Watch the full set to see just how expansive pop music can be.
