  • L.A. duo No Age share their cover of Black Flag's "Six Pack", and just like the original 1981 single, it's a rush of hardcore fury. The track was recorded for a 7-inch box set curated by designer Dana Lecthenberg for Gallery 1988. Also in the set: Andrew Jackson Jihad’s Sean Bonnette cover of The Misfits, and Eel Bros (Man Man’s Honus Honus and Hot Karate’s King Cyrus) take on Danzig. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Reunited shoegazers Swervedriver share the new single "Autodidact" below, from their forthcoming release I Wasn't Born to Lose You. It will be the UK quartet's first new album since 1998. You can catch them Sunday, March 8th at Neumos. I Wasn't Born to Lose You comes out March 3rd via Cobraside. [Pitchfork]

  • The vivacious Sharon Jones made a triumphant return to The Late Show with David Letterman last night, roaring through a rendition of "Making Up and Breaking Up" from last year's release Give the People What They Want. It was the first time she's been back on the show since 2010 and her recovery from cancer. (Sadly, her band The Dap-Kings were stranded at a Memphis airport and were unable to perform with her.) Watch below, and keep track of all the late-night musical highlights with KEXP's TV Eye column. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Local ladies Chastity Belt share a new video for the title track of their upcoming release, Time To Go Home. The band hit the streets of Capitol Hill to dance with shirtless dudes and "have a good time." Time To Go Home is out March 24th via Hardly Art, and their album release show is on Saturday, March 28th at The Highline. [Stereogum]
