'90s-revivalists Speedy Ortiz go all the way back to the '70s for their cover of the Sibylle Baier song "Lost Something In The Hills." The obscure German folk-singer had recorded songs at home on a reel-to-reel recorder, and when none other than J Mascis got his hands on a copy, he helped Baier's son get in touch with Orange Twin Records who released the songs in 2006 on the album Colour Green. UK band Temples brought their shimmering psych-pop sound to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night, performing the track "Shelter Song" from their debut Sun Structures. Portland duo Wampire have announced their sophomore album, Bazaar, will be out October 7th via Polyvinyl. Produced by Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Jacob Portrait, the nine-track release was recorded at The Museum studio in Brooklyn. Stream the track "Wizard Staff" below: [Consequence of Sound]

It's the perfect pairing: earlier this week, former Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis released her first new album in six years, and today, it's been announced that there is a wine designed to go with the album. Also titled The Voyager, the beverage is a blend of carignan, valdiguie and petit sirah from Solano County, California, and comes with a download code for the album.
