We start the week with shows from Johnny Marr at Neumos and The Telescopes, LSD & The Search for God, Flavor Crystals, and Black Nite Crash at Comet Tavern. On Tuesday, another much anticipated UK band making their Seattle debut with Savages at Neumos. A little too noisy for you? Bat for Lashes are also at Showbox at the Market. On Wednesday, we keep it cool with The Gaslight Anthem and Matt Mays at Neptune Theatre, Inkiest Eels, Tomten, and Armed with Legs are at Columbia City Theater, and Star Anna & Friends are at Tractor Tavern. The one and only Prince plays a series of epic (and way Sold Out!) shows on Thursday and Friday night at the Showbox. We also have Lee Fields & The Expressions and Lady at Neumos, and Song Sparrow Research, Wand, and Ozarks at Columbia City Theater on Thursday night. KEXP celebrates the Hood to Hood challenge winners with a huge celebration in the U-District on Friday. Festivities include an all-day broadcast and music curation by KEXP DJs. The broadcast will be LIVE from University of Washington’s Red Square as part of Husky Fest, 6:00am - 6:00pm with DJ sets from John Richards, Cheryl Waters and Kevin Cole.
