At today's CMJ session, dance-pop band Wild Cub brought their own baby cub: frontman Keegan DeWitt's 4 1/2-month old baby was in the audience, watching his papa bear in concert for the very first time.

A former NY-based composer, now living in Tennessee, DeWitt worked on the soundtrack for the film Dance Party USA, named by The New York Times as one of 2006’s best films. And a dance party USA is exactly what he and Wild Cub brought to Judson Memorial Church today. Their debut album, Youth, is a joyful explosion of tropical percussion, '80s-style synthpop, and catchy sing-along lyrics. What a great first concert for Baby DeWitt to attend!
