Under the Silver Lake is an American neo-noir mystery film written, produced and directed by David Robert Mitchell. Originally premiered last year at Cannes, the film will make it’s US release on April 19 via A24. Starring Andrew Garfield, the movie takes on a number of cryptic conspiracies hidden around Los Angeles that Garfield's character investigates after the disappearance of his neighbor.

In the film, the fictional band Jesus & The Brides of Dracula play a part in the mystery. Made up of members of Silversun Pickups, our Song of the Day is the soundtrack song “Turning Teeth.” The song was written by Disasterpiece (Rich Vreeland) alongside the film’s director, with the puzzling lyrics playing an important plot point in the film.
