English duo Sink Ya Teeth make synthy electronic with a dash of post-punk for full minimalistic effect. The project of Maria Uzor and Gemma Cullingford, the pair released their debut self-titled album last month via Hey Buffalo. Our song of the day, “Substitutes,” was an early single in which Uzor icily sings over a primitive drum beat and swooshing synths. The song comes with a strobe-filled video directed by David Drake.
