Blushh is the project of LA-based Shab Ferdowsi. Nearly two EPs in, Ferdowsi toes the line of hushed, intimate bedroom rock and harder, angrier rock n' roll. “Do I Look Tired?” exemplifies this perfectly in its quick two minutes and 19 seconds. The song comes in quietly with just a strumming guitar and Ferdowsi’s fuzzed-out vocals before quickly bursting out into a full-blown headbanger. “Sorry, I would rather not waste my time,” Ferdowsi quips with rolled eyes and the statement couldn’t be truer. The track comes off of her sophomore EP, Thx For Asking, which drops this Friday, June 15 via Yellow K Records. It follows 2016’s It’s Fine EP. Thx For Asking was recorded at Hotel London where it was produced by Yianni Anastos-Prastacos and Arieh Berl, with bass by Josh Berl and drums by Lani Renaldo. Check out Blushh's official video for "Pink Shirt!," off of last year's split EP with Maddie Ross.
