For a little over a year, Dublin quintet Fontaines D.C. have been pumping out solid single after solid single and garnering buzz around Europe with their energetic live shows. Our song of the day, “Chequeless Reckless,” dropped earlier this year and sees frontman Grian Chatten sneering in monotone over the post-punk track, garnering comparisons to young English band Shame. Just last month, Fontaines D.C. made their debut appearance on KEXP during a live session with John Richards. No word yet on when the buzzy band will release their debut full-length.
