You must have been on your best behavior this year, because Santa has brought you a new track from local favorites Naked Giants.
The clothing-averse trio got their start playing every house show possible in Seattle, building a following with their revved-up, snotty-but-sweet garage rock. They've been issuing singles and EPs at a steady rate, and their latest anthem "The Age Of Information" comes from a recent splitwith songwriter Ron Gallo.
If you're feeling overwhelmed with the bad news and bad vibes coming at you from all directions constantly, Naked Giants have your back. Over a Rolling Stones-like groove, the band lay waste to media bombardment, advising us that "in the age of information/we've got to change the radio station." The band is barely out of high school, but they're old enough to know sometimes you've got to turn everything off and enjoy life, perhaps by rocking out with your best buds.
There's no news on when these boys will drop their long-awaited full-length debut, but until then you can keep up with them here and watch their KEXP performance from earlier this year below.
