This (mostly) New York-based collective incorporates rock, hip-hop and other electronic styles with the sounds of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Eastern Europe. There’s also a mix of languages and cultures in the lyrics that touch on everything from partying to politics. It’s kind of like a contemporary world music smoothie. A tasty one.
