KEXP 90.3 FM - where the music matters

Beirut is a project of a young singer/musician from Albuquerque named Zach Condon. He brings his large touring band into the KEXP studios for a live set of dramatic indie folk with crooning vocals, strings, accordion, horns and a variety of percussion. There's a bit of Southwestern flavor, but the obvious influence is the sound of Eastern Europe. - W. Myers
