KEXP 90.3 FM - where the music matters

Baka Beyond is a seven member group from the UK, with an international line-up that includes musicians from the UK, Cameroon, France, and Senegal. Leader Martin Cranick has been traveling since 1990 to Central Africa, where he has worked with the Baka people in the rain forests of Cameroon. He draws his musical inspiration from the Baka, and combines it with other African and Celtic influences, to form the intriguing blend that is Baka Beyond. - J. Kertzer
