African artists Badenya les Freres Coulibaly are griots (traditional African storyteller musicians) from the West African country of Burkina Faso. This enchanting, ebullient band is comprised of family members singing, dancing and playing various instruments: balafon (a framed xylophone with added resonators), tama (talking drum) and calabash (gourd rattle). - M.
