 KEXP is celebrating Father’s Day with the 2nd annual Kids Dance Party for families with children 10 and under at Neumos (925 E. Pike Street) Sunday, June 17 from 1-4pm. John Richards (Morning Show Mon-Fri 6-10am) will host the party while KEXP DJs Riz Rollins (Wed-Thurs 9pm-1am, Expansions Sundays 9pm-midnight) and Darek Mazzone (Wo’Pop Tuesdays 6-9pm) spin music for the kids. World champion Massive Monkees break dancer, Jeromeskee, will demonstrate his skills and teach some dancing moves to the kids.
The KEXP Kids Dance Party will feature hands-on activities, games, and of course dancing! All activities will cater to children 10 and under.

Ticket Information
Tickets are $9/person. Babes in arms are free. Tickets available through Ticketswest outlets and Neumo’s box office. Event proceeds will benefit Art with Heart, a local non-profit that empowers youth in crisis through therapeutic books and programs that foster self-expression.
 Art with Heart's mission is to empower youth in crisis through therapeutic books and programs that foster self-expression. Locally, they partner with children's organizations such as Ruth Dykeman Center, YMCA and Children’s Hospital, to supplement and improve their therapeutic arts outreach. Nationally, they distribute books that provide a needed emotional outlet for children dealing with trauma. They believe that creative expression has a profound impact on their emotional mindset as well as long-lasting positive effects within the community.
