Jenn : Variety Mix
I grew up in San Jose, California with stints in Pittsburgh, PA. My love of punk and hardcore formed out of a Bay Area thrash upbringing. Since moving to Seattle, I’ve been booking shows, playing in bands, running sound, and whatever else I can to support the music I appreciate. Outside of that, I’m pursuing a degree in Mathematics and volunteer at an all-ages venue.
Una Bèstia Incontrolable – Observant Com El Món Es Destrueix
(La Vida Es Un Mus)
Psychedelic, noisey punk out of Barcelona. This is the perfect record and it makes me want to give up.
Nemesis – Gyou-Shou
(Flower Of Carnage/Ratbone /Solar Funeral)
Second EP from this Japanese hardcore band. The energy these 4 songs produce should be bottled and sold in stores. The race through life slows down for nothing. Be prepared. Drink Nemesis.
Gag – This Punk Shit Is Cool But I Hope I Am Rob Zombie When I Am 28
Olympia boys with great hair and hard songs. Play these hits, TRL.
V/A – Ground Zero
This comp has every one of your new favorite New York bands on it. This is the soundtrack to the sewer. Stand-out songs by La Misma and Murderer.
Pissed Jeans – Honeys
This band is as Pennsylvania as alcoholism and economic depression. These songs are about nothing, because inside, you feel nothing. A great follow-up to the Sam Kinison Woman single and King of Jeans.
