The Help Desk Technician will be the first point of contact for staff, volunteers, and listeners seeking help with technical issues, and will both resolve straightforward problems and serve as go-between for users and IT Operations Engineers. KEXP is hiring a Traffic Assistant to help with scheduling, documenting, and fulfilling online and on-air underwriting and promotional campaigns in a fast paced work environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who has experience in radio broadcasting, is able to learn new technical systems quickly, and can work independently with a high level of focus. The Traffic Assistant supports an essential function of KEXP’s business, fundraising, and programming operations. This is a regular, 0.75 FTE position. KEXP is a Seattle-based non-commercial radio station and dynamic arts organization that provides rich music experiences on the air, online, and on the streets. More than 200,000 listeners from around the world tune in to the station each week over the air and online, and KEXP produces and broadcasts over 500 live performances each year.

KEXP’s programming staff of 40 DJs, who are widely recognized as experts in their field, present emerging artists alongside established bands. Both variety mix and specialty shows spotlight new sounds as well as long-time favorites from the Pacific Northwest, across the country, and around the world.
