Midnight in a Perfect World: Rachel Vick

Rachel Vick is a Seattle-based, Cleveland-born DJ, songwriter, and vocalist currently making waves on the local scene. As a multi-faceted artist, she's known to perform her own music on stage as well as set the tempo for a party behind the decks as a DJ. She has released music on Popgang Records and Seattle-based imprints Late Night Munchies, Uniting Souls, and Feral One Recordings, and has set the tone opening up for artists such as Soichi Terada, Black Loops, Chez Damier, Jaques Greene, Ardalan, and Kettama.

In regards to her smooth and uplifting guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World, Rachel says: "I wanted to share music I have made with you, which includes a few unreleased exclusives, but also include music that inspires me to create, teetering on the line between house and indie dance. The energy of this mix is bright and colorful, weaving synth textures and house drums with lyrical melodies that will speak to your heart, but keep your feet dancing."
